Electric Vehicle Program, Save Fuel Prices!

The suppliers and automakers of Europe have launched this electric vehicle program and will bring a version of mini car to the market by 2010. It also considers electric versions of Mercedes-Benz A- and B-class cars. Company starts selling these Electric Cars in Denmark by 2011. The French company is working with its Nissan affiliate and the Japanese battery manufacturer NEC.

 A ground vehicle propelled by a motor that is powered by electrical energy from rechargeable batteries or other source onboard the vehicle, or from an external source in, on, or above the roadway.

 Electric vehicle refers to an Automotive Vehicle in which the propulsion system converts electrical energy stored chemically in a battery into mechanical energy to move the vehicle. This is classed as a battery-only-powered electric vehicle. Among this Hybrid Electric Vehicle is the major class as it has more than one power source.
