I have come across quite a number of people simply posting one or two lines with a link to a magazine or something like that. No apparent story - I have no idea what they are on about. What to do?

I'm troubled with that too, Tom. I've asked a few of them if they have anything else to say about it, but they've not come back.

HI Tom and genaraldecay,

great question - there are few ways to deal with this issue. you could leave a comment as generaldecay mentioned - that achieves two things, firstly it notifies the contributor that we expect more from their posts and secondly it alerts us to an issue when we see the comment.

another way to handle it is to contact one of the editors directly with a link to the story in question.

Of course, you could comment and contact an editor...

hope that helps.

Thanks for that Ryan - this is helpful guidance.

That does help, thanks Ryan.

Hello guys,

I've tried leaving a note similar to this for several  writers - one example that I can remember is for one of Obi-Akpere posts - who gave no reply and just continues to cut and paste articles after that.

And now I find that he's been made a wrangler?  You've got to be kidding!
