Killer drones that can see through walls.

watch what you're doing in the bedroom, you might get blasted by the pilotless all-seeing drones of the moral fundamentalist police state. From a military standpoint this is a must have in a nation that abhors losing soldiers lives- especially over lies. It sure is scary having it in the hands of corrupt and unnaccountable people like the Democrats and Republicans.

For the last couple of days, in the Human Nature blog, I've been looking into a breakthrough cryptically reported in Iraq and Afghanistan: the ability of U.S. unmanned aerial vehicles to identify and track human targets "even when they are inside buildings." Several recently reported technologies might account for it, but Slate reader fozzy suggests looking for the answer in a military research field called STTW, usually translated as "sense-through-the-wall." Has this ability been extended to a distance that allows it to be used by aerial drones?

yeah, for some in Iraq, the opening scene of Terminator was like real life. I just hope when computers get smart, that they will be more humane than human governments and leaders are

Yup, President Bush can now order the anonymous murder of anyone, anywhere on the planet, at anytime, and there are no witnesses, no clues, and if he gets caught he just says the victim and family were Al Qaeda.

Are you feeling safer yet?

'watch what you're doing in the bedroom, you might get blasted' ...

I don't forsee any problems as long as the individuals under survelience are using American-made products for their adult fun - it should be easy enough to program the drones to recognize the chemical signatures specially compounded into such items as lubricants and various plastic and rubber items, for instance, and only blast those foolish enough to have purchased a non-sanctioned product ...

See ? It'll be just fine, really ...
