20-year-old Convicted in Toronto Terror Plot

The first person convicted under Canada's new terror act legistlation is a 20-year-old member of the so-called 'Toronto 18', men who prosecutors claim trained to carry out deadly attacks against the Canadian Government.
His name has not been released as he was under the age of 18 when he was arrested.
An Ontario Superior Court judge has convicted a 20-year-old man of conspiring in a group plot to bomb several Canadian targets, including Parliament Hill, RCMP headquarters and nuclear power plants.Judge John Sproat gave his ruling Thursday on the first of 11 accused in the plot at a courthouse in Brampton, Ont., saying evidence that a terrorist conspiracy existed was "overwhelming."
