£3m pledged to tackle UK knife crime

The British government has pledged 3 million pounds toward attacking knife crime in the country, particularly in the capital, after yet another gang-related stabbing death.
An extra £3m to help keep young people safe in knife crime hotspots has been announced by ministers.
Initiatives include a visible police presence on school routes and dedicated officers to work with young people likely to become offenders or victims.
The money will go to the 10 police force areas in the government's Tackling Knives Action Programme.
Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said she hoped it would send the message that a knife is not needed for protection.

Someone has taken one of my images from Flickr without my permission in regards to this article which I am not happy about at all. The image can not be saved from the flickr page so who ever did it has taken a screenshot of my copyrighted image and then modified copy and pasted it into imaging software.
The image in question is also bound by contract by istock.com which means that thier lawers can get on the case if needs be. Copyright infringement is a crime, please attempt to be aware of copyright in the future in order to avoid any further action being taken. If an image has a copyright next to it dont use it, it's there for a reason
This I am sure sounds very heavy but I like to be asked before my work is used in any way shape or form, I also like to get paid for it hence the rights reserved status of my images on flickr, it's the professional thing to do and the last thing I need to the hasstle of having to get lawers on the case to fight my cause which I do have access to.

Thanks amyjudd, I have sent a mail to the site administrators at quality@nowpublic.com, the image in question looked like it was in a place holder setting awaiting my approval, it's a dark image of a man (me) holding a knife in a threatening manner towards the camera, in a kind of clockwork orange way.
Thanks again for the speedy responce.

Hi Levi,
Your photo is not in our database, but if you go back to the original message where it asks you to approve or reject the use of the photo, just click ''no thanks, and please don't bother me again' (or something like that) then your request will be deleted and you will not be asked to share any more photos with NowPublic.
Again, sorry about that.
