Al-Qaeda's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri posted a video on the internet denouncing the recently elected Barack Obama, saying his election doesn't change who is behind the white house.
He also made several comments disparaging Obama's race and intentions and made reference to Malcolm X, showing old footage.
Al-Qaeda denounced Barack Obama today Wednesday disparaging America's first African-American president as a ``house slave'' and saying his vow to fight Muslim extremists in Afghanistan was doomed. In an video tape released yesterday and recorded some time after Mr. Obama's Nov 4 election triumph, al-Qaida's second-in-command Ayman al-Zawahri heaps abuse on Mr. Obama who is shown wearing a kippah, or Jewish skullcap.
The BBC has the video here, as well as where you can see that house slave was re-interpreted as 'house negro' in the video's subtitles:
The second-in-command of Islamic militant network al-Qaeda has hit out at US President-elect Barack Obama. In a message purportedly from Ayman al-Zawahiri, the al-Qaeda deputy called Mr Obama a "house slave" - a demeaning term implying he served white people.
It was the first public comment from al-Qaeda since Obama was elected United States president on November 4.
Zawahiri said in an audio message, which appeared on militant web sites, that Mr Obama is "the direct opposite of honorable black Americans" like Malcolm X. He called Mr Obama a "house negro".Osama bin Laden's Egyptian deputy and spiritual mentor added that Mr Obama's plan to deploy more US troops to Afghanistan is doomed to failure, because Afghans will resist.

I wonder what Osama Ben Laden is if Obama is a house slave. I think he is pulling at strings and losing support just as his counter part Bush is losing support or has lost it.

Modern social consciousness has yet to arrive in the minds of certain increasingly isolated and aging tribal leaders.

The actual meaning for the term 'house negro', used as a term to distinguish status among the enslaved, would most likely imply the inference that those who served in the house of the slave holder viewed their lot differently from those enslaved that worked in the field, the 'field negro', with the 'house negro' tending to be more inclined to protect what belonged to the 'master'.
In a speech by El Hajj Malik El Shabazz, known at the time of the speech as Malcolm X, Message to the Grassroots, he explains the appellations of 'house negro' and 'field negro'.
This distinction has mainly served to make the comparison between those enslaved and toiling at more back breaking work in the field and the relative 'easy' work of the so called house slave.
Neither form of enslavement was a benign form of servitude, as those enslaved were stuck in the house with those who assumed to own them as possessions, subject to their moods, whims and physical appetites.
As for better treatment in the house, escaped slave and abolitionist Frederick Douglass' account of the common custom of feeding the young enslaved children of the house from a trough on the floor, presents an unforgettable image of indignity.

On CNN this morning they were reporting this incident if you may call it. It was a bit strange because under their breath they kept saying "allegedly said...". Then on the bottom part that reads the headline of the issue that's being covered, in very fine print it said something along the lines of reported as saying..
What bogus journalism makes something a headline news and scaring the general population as that Al-Qaeda is supposedly after the freedom that America offers? I mean report something with fact, millions of people turn to you to get some knowledge of the world and you make a big charade on how so and so might have said this. Also knowing from previous video clips from the Middle East shown on the news or other mediums has been proven to be translated completely wrong.
Sick of the filtered media who give you nothing but krap.

Here is a link to an analysis linking Al-Zawahiri to the US Government.
A quote from the post:
"Al-Qaeda’s alleged number two Ayman Al-Zawahiri has called for new attacks to be launched against “criminal America,” which is somewhat odd considering the fact that he once fought on behalf of the CIA and was granted U.S. residence by the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
Indeed, Al-Zawahiri has reportedly been captured twice before, so the fact that he is still releasing video tapes via the Pentagon-allied IntelCenter organization and playing the role of boogeyman so Obama can continue bombing sovereign countries in the name of the war on terror strikes us as a little fishy.
Is this Al-Zawahiri a different person to the real Al-Zawahiri who was reported to have been captured in Tehran in February 2002?
Is this a different Al-Zawahiri to the one reportedly captured near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in September 2004?
Or is this the same Al-Zawahiri who, as the head of the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, fought for the CIA in Bosnia?
Is this the same Al-Zawahiri who, according to January 2000 U.S. Congressional testimony, was granted U.S. residence by the Immigration and Naturalization Service - something almost impossible for many legitimate immigrants to obtain?"
The article makes a very good case complete with the connections between Zawahiri and the US Government.

Maybe the message is that Obama will inevitably be just another puppet hooked up to the same strings left vacant by the departure of Bush et al ...
at 19:32 on November 19th, 2008
Technically, Emilio, that's really the intent of the message, the true insult to President Elect Obama, not so much a racial slur as an ideological swipe, the implication that 'he's merely minding the 'house' on 'master's' behalf; he's no different; he just seems different.'

Do you mean the Bilderberg Group?

important story, thx for posting, Rob.
Everyone should consider the source of the taunts; the Al CIAduh #2, who keeps getting reported killed, reported alive, killed again- this guy's been reported dead more times than Bin Laden, who is "believed" to be dragging his dialysis machine around the hills in N. Pakistan while putting out video tapes that for some reason are never reported to be authenticated.
