ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Sen. Barack Obama's foes seized Sunday upon a brief slip of the tongue, when the Democratic presidential nominee was outlining his Christianity but accidentally said, "my Muslim faith."

Another slip.....

From the Jerusalem Post:

Malik holds a photo of Obama and him in Muslim dress, reportedly when the two first met in 1985
The Jerusalem Post reported on June 12 that "Barack Obama's half brother Malik said Thursday that if elected his brother will be a good president for the Jewish people, despite his Muslim background.

bill hicks, I like this story. It's good stuff.

That is more than just a slip.  It is his belief.  He has been hiding behind Christianity.

personally i think he might be and it bothers me that he hides it.  if he didn't hide then it would not be an issue.  he hides a lot of his true feelings and beliefs.  we saw that during the saddleback interview.  after  that i was sure i did not want him.  it was not what he believed but that he wouldn't say what it was without beating about the bush.  a president needs to have convictions with openness to other opinions not convictions based on opinions from others.  he was too wishy washy.

'Not that there is anything wrong with that.  LOL......'

Excuse me for saying so, Bill, but wouldn't this be bigotry ?

no that was a common Jerry Seinfeld line.  That's all.  It was not meant to belittle a religion.

thanks, can you imagine the thoughts that went through his head when he said it on camera.  if he does something like that in the debates it is over.

Look up 'taqiya'. No surprise here. He's been practising taqiya all along.

My wife just read the article on Drudge.  "He is a Muslim".

My response to her was 'I know and people don't want to believe it. There is no way a Christian would let something like that slip'.

Why would a muslim want people to think they are Christian?  There is only one reason.

I am surprised this story died a quiet death.... I read about it for the first time today while researching some other facts

The media is setting out bon fires ready to burn Palin at the stake for every silly mis speak or out of context remark.... yet this one from the other side barely gets a mention.

George Stenophoulos pinch hits for Obama while Charles Gibson uses tactical and divisive interview techniques to try and pull out verbal misspeaks and point out his perceived flaws of the VP candidate.  ........That is Americas version of impartial media.

I just wish we had 100% fair impartial coverage period, meat and potato coverage, not candy and soft drinks.... empty calories and tooth decay..... Sugary Mud pie just ain't cutting it. Both sides are guilty... but the one with the confectionery media behind it seems a little more to blame to me personally.
